  • Went here on April 10, 2017 with two 8 year old boys. They LOVED the outdoor part of the museum - WWI trenches, a Revolutionary War era fort, Civil War houses and a WWII army barracks-type buildings. ...  more »
  • Loved the exhibits. The outdoors sites were great and an easy walk for older people. We learned a lot.  more »
  • What a great place! Free parking and free admission, and lots of great exhibits inside. The weather was warm enough to check out some of the equipment outside, we loved the tanks and helicopters. Can'...  more »
  • Has a magnificent Army museum!! I would say, " If you haven't been there already, make it a point to go!!" We go there often, sometimes just to walk the trail. They have Army Era settings around the trail, as well as vehicles and aircraft! An AWESOME PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CHILDREN AND OR GRANDCHILDREN, EVEN VETERANS (if not upsetting to them!!)! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!
  • Awesome place. After driving by it for years we tools our 3 and 5 year olds last month. It is so cool and the little ones even enjoyed it. My son keeps asking to go back. The best museum we have been to and it is FREE!! A great stop when driving I-81. It can be a 10 minute stop or 3 hours. We will be stopping there many more times.
  • This review is based off of years of going to AHEC. It started out small with one building and a few monuments. Then it exploded in popularity and now after seeing several buildings there and more structures, its a phenomenal place to learn and excercise. The walking path is pretty lengthy. They do a job at keeping the trail clean of trash and dog messes. I wish they had water fountains. I also wish they would add more stuff. Yea tanks are great, and so are helicopters. But going in the trenches and the under ground bunker are awesome. I wish they had more stuff like that.
  • Wonderful outdoor displays along the pathways. The indoor experience is educational as well as interactive.
  • This museum is about the experiences & stories of individual soldiers, not just about the equipment & battles. CafĂ© is excellent!
