Carbondale Public Art reviews
cool vibe- great platform- we have a lot of talent in the valley and it is shown off here- some of it is for sale- so much more meaningful than buying something on amazon! more »
Spent an hour or so walking around this artsy little town. The day we visited, they also had the Farmer’s Market going on. Quite a few artistic galleries and stores scattered throughout the... more »

Nice big clean space supporting local and diverse talent. They offer art opportunities to emerging artist snd provide art, dance and other programming for the area. I was there for Saxon Martinez show Site 1 and it was spectacular. Very new sculptural works questioning heritage, culture, and language. Must see show
If you've been to Mountain Fair, you know that Carbondale's premier arts organization knows how to put on a phenomenal party. You almost wouldn't know that they put a huge amount of revenue and other resources into arts education, especially for kids, but for adults as well. If you just make it to the gift store and gallery, you'll know that Carbondale Arts is committed to lifting up, encouraging, and showcasing local talent. Carbondale is infused with a sense of inclusivity when it comes to its arts and culture, and the whole town shines with creativity and community, thanks largely to the Arts council.
The center of any good town is with their arts district. CCAH manages to support the local artist scene like no one else. Their gallery is continuously hosting some of the best and newest works.
Thank you for all the hard work putting on the fair.I have bee going to the fair for over 25 years and usually buy a craft of some kind every year.My only complaint is the food prices and what you get for what you pay. Seven dollars for a hot dog?!!! Seems like it`s make every penny you can and not provide good value for what is charged.First year i have not purchased food or drink.!
