Where to stay in Cape May

Choosing where to stay on Cape May remains simple because most accommodations lie steps from Beach Avenue (which, as its name suggests, runs along the cape's stretch of sand). Even choosing your style of accommodation is uncomplicated--inns and bed and breakfasts situated inside Victorian houses encompass nearly the entire range of choices. You can opt for a cottage if you prefer self-service. Budget-wise you'll find the most options in the mid-range and higher end, but a few value-driven choices exist too. Book early if you plan to visit in summer.

  • While visiting in Cape May we had the occasion to visit and taste the Brew. We really enjoyed the visit. The various brews were excellent and I would surely return for a visit whenever I'm in Cape May...  more »

  • Not a big craft beer drinker, but it was a cool experience! The brewery was very lively with people, but it was also a very relaxed atmosphere. I tried a good variety of their beers, and although they weren't what I would otherwise drink on a regular basis, they were all very unique and flavorful in their own respect. I recommend "The Bog Cranberry Shandy"! Being from South Jersey myself, its a must to try the local breweries!
  • We had been here two years ago, and were not impressed by their beer selection. Fast forward to now, and the beers have improved greatly. The Cranberry Bog is still our favorite. Friendly bar tenders and love that you get a souvenir glass with your flight.
  • Fun kiosks to hangout and places to take pics. The "tasting menu" is only $5 and includes 4 types of beers. That's a steal. There are over 24 types of beer available, so you get to choose what you wanna taste based on the name. You can keep an open tab or pay right away. They check ID's, so don't forget it in the car.
  • Expanded outdoor seating helps to ease the crowds with plent on tap to try. Always worth a stop when on the cape.
  • Very good selection of craft beer. Nice microbrewery. Loved the Avalon coffee stout
