  • We took our dog for a nice afternoon walk. This is a really beautiful area located close to everything in our city. The people who take care of this nature center and park do a wonderful job.

  • Have been there many times to walk the trails, and take classes. We have taken classes on Dutch Oven cooking, Lewis and Clark, on pond management, and many others. They have all been free.

  • Great place to go for information on wildlife and the wilderness. Also recommend walking the trails they have, the trails are beautiful.
  • I have called and contacted them about an owl who is killing the neighborhood cats. They tell me it's not the owl, though my neighbour watched her cat being dropped from a tree and the owl going back after it. It sustained a lot of injuries and cost her a lot of money. I have had 3 cats disappear just since these owls have shown up in this area. well it may the norm for an owl to feed in cats. These are. And something needs to be done
  • Attended a fantastic class at the Conservation Nature Center! Very informative, well-presented, and a lot of fun. I'll definitely be signing up for more classes! The center itself is beautiful, and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
  • We are very fortunate to have such first class nature education facility right here in Cape Girardeau. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The volunteers do a wonderful job.
  • Went here on a trip and it was fun. We went in the woods for a hike.
