Inspirock Rating:
4/5 based on 480+ reviews on the web
Spend time at the beach as part of this 14 hectare (35 acre) site called Jetty Park. Walk the beach or the long jetty to see local fisherman, manatee, and crabs going about their days, or sit out and watch the beach from the observation porch. Kids will appreciate the playground, and most visitors like watching cruise ships and submarines coming and going from their voyages. You can go kayaking, where you can sometimes spot dolphins, or head out with a small boat. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent. You'll find picnic tables and grills here, as well as a full campground if you want to spend the night. A per-vehicle entrance fee applies; additional fees are required to camp. • Very affordable place to camp. Close access to the beach and other Cape Canaveral attractions. All sites close to showers/rest rooms. Great playground for kids.
  • Quite the spot. Best waves to jump into. Great for kids. Despite being so close from the Cruise ship harbor, the park makes you feel you are away from it all.
  • We watched the cruise ships come and go from our camper in Jetty Park. Just one of the fun things to do there. The beach is really nice. The sunrise there is gorgeous! There are plenty of attractions ...  read more »
  • This is a great place to camp. Trent campers have very private coves, rv sites you need to be careful of. We had a nice big spot, but it was on the busy corner. Many are right in front of the office, and its loud and crowded. It's slightly pet friendly, although you can't take them on the trails, in the park area or beach. It had wonderful play areas and picnic areas. You can watch the cruise ships come in and out of the canal day and night, and the Disney ships play songs with their horns. It's located on the beach so its a short walk to the ocean and a nice beach. We saw a launch from Cape Canaveral and it was remarkable. Great place to experience that!
  • THIS IS FOR THE BEACH- not the campground. This is my favorite beach in Cape Canaveral. $5 a car for Brevard residents. My hub and I ride our bikes to the beach, which you do not have to pay for to get in. The beaches are always clean. Life guard safe. BEAUTIFUL views of the launches and watching the cruise ships leave port. You are so close you can see the people standing on the top of the ships waving. Favorite beach overall. Only downside is pay.
  • Beautiful and affordable, Jetty park is a park within Port Canaveral that is located on the south side of the port at the Atlantic Ocean. Jetty Park has cabins, RV camp sites, day use areas and a dedicated fishing pier where permits are not required. While the park can be over crowded on holidays, most days JP has plenty of room for family and friends to find their own space. The park is staffed every day, and patrolled by the Brevard County Sheriff's Office and Seaport Security for safety. Finally, remember your sunscreen. The cool breeze is wonderful but won't protect you from the sun.
  • We picked this RV Park because it would give us a clear view of Shuttle launches from Cape Canaveral. We saw the last one from here and it was spectacular. But this is also a great park for beach access and for good fishing. Also, there are a lot of cruise ships use the adjacent canal.
  • Nice and clean beach. Always found a parking spot. Has showers, changing rooms and bathrooms.
