  • The Dead Horse Point is most famous for being the location of the final scene of the film Thelma & Louise. Arrived at the top of the view point, it overlooks a bend in the Colorado River, essentially similar to the most spectacular Horseshoe Bend in AZ. The main difference lies in the fact that here we observe the River from much higher up and farther, the scenery is visible as a balcony! The location is still very nice and romantic especially at sunset, not neglecting the fact that the area is much quieter than the more famous Horseshoe of Page ... The area is accessible at an additional cost, through an unguarded gate to which you have to stop and leave the money in an envelope ... I recommend prohibited being smart, education and respect are essential!
