  • Being seniors our hiking trails are limited. This gave us the opportunity to see so much more & learn so much of the history of the area. The guide was really good. The ride is in a suburban w/o doors...  more »

  • Elkin's Ranch offers a variety of hourly jeep tours down into and around the canyon for you to choose from. We chose the 1 hour tour which was a lot of fun! The tour guide was full of information and you could tell he loved his job. The sights were amazing and we stopped multiple times wherever we wanted to get pictures or look around. This place was amazing and I'd highly recommend giving it a try!
  • Being newer to Amarillo I was looking for things to do, specifically outdoors. I asked around and was told about the Palo Duro Canyon, and after looking at that found this ranch. I asked about it and was told that some people had attended the breakfast they hold here. I didn't do that but instead saw they have Jeep tours. I was a little put off by the price origionally, but after attending the two hour tour, I felt like it was money very well spent. The tour was plesant, exiting, interesting, and overall really fun. The tour guide had great stories and talked the entire time. I highly reccomend this to anyone looking for a good time in the Amarillo outdoors!
