  • We enjoyed this hike over a beautiful warm winter afternoon. The total length if you do the WHOLE loop is 8.5 miles. There are markers to help keep you on track. It's super easy terrain with beautiful...  more »
  • Many of the reviews of Canyon Lake Park are confusing it with Overlook Park. Overlook is where the dam is on the southeast side of the lake. Canyon Lake Park is the little island/ peninsula with some ...  more »
  • Don't camp here if you don't want really PRIMITIVE camping. No showers or restrooms at this place. The views are great, but not the best place on the lake for campers.  more »

  • I've been coming here since I was a little girl. Love this place. My grandparents and mother made it a tradition to come out here as a family. Once a year we get together to enjoy the outdoors and the water. I hope that when our children get older they can come an enjoy this place with their own children.
  • It was relaxing not packed at all. But very tall grass. Would be a lot better if grass was taken care of.
  • Great park in the lake. Scenic and well maintained.
  • Great camping park. Tent only camping with primitive restrooms, water fountains, boat ramp, and 8 miles of trail. Only $12 per camp site per night. Closed from October 1st to April 1st each year for winter. Plenty of wild life in the parks from deer, fox, skunk, porcupine, squirrel, jack rabbit, cotten tail rabbit, birds, occasional bald eagle, lizards, snakes, etc.
