  • This place was amazing. Acres and acres of just about everything you could imagine from junk to high end art. A little short on bathrooms and they weren't very nice. Good experience over all.
  • Having both flea market and trade booths means that everyone can find something they want...or need. Great for DIY'ers, home decorators, and bargain hunters. Scooters can be a menace, but bring a cart...  read more »
  • Went for a day of shopping on the biggest weekend of the year. Weather was awesome for walking and shopping outdoors. One con is womens bathroom lines are very long no matter which one you choose!! Lo...  read more »
  • @ David Blackwell. You're obviously misguided. I live in Canton with my wife and five children. It's very safe, great schools, and we love our police. Any rural area will have issues with drugs Bc those areas have law enforcement. First Monday is not some drug hang out nor is anyone preying on first Monday goers. First Monday is awesome for those that like to shop.
  • NOT WORTH YOUR LIFE! My fellow Texans, I beg you to give me 2 minutes of your time, please read this! I have been a Vendor at Canton Trade Days 3 times, and only recently came to the full realization about what Van Zandt County Law Enforcement and County Officials fail to tell the thousands upon thousands of people that visit Canton monthly. Here's the bottom line, Van Zandt County was rated #4 on the FBI's most dangerous counties per capita in the nation list. Their Law Enforcement departments and Judicial systems have been absolutely wrought with corruption over the past few years. (Horrific crimes commited by men that are supposed to protect the public) There is serious drug cartel activity in this county due to it being deemed a "Safe Haven", safe zone for illegal immigrants, and the county is close to 100 million dollars in debt. This has led to a woefully understaffed and underfunded law enforcement division. Anywhere from 100,000 to 400,000 people visit trade days on a monthly basis, and I dare you to find accurate information on the real number of law enforcement officers currently employed in Canton. I have never seen more than 4 officers, and I am guessing maybe 10-12. (I pray at least that) Canton Trade Days is a ticking time bomb!! You have the right to make your own fully informed decisions as to where you take your family, and I beg you...RESEARCH!! Canton Trade Days encourages you to visit and spend time in their town, and does nothing to warn you of the REAL DANGER lurking below the surface of what, to out of towners, appears to be a quiet town. If you go to Canton, leave before dark, DO NOT spend the night. Every hotel in Canton is riddled with blatant drug activity. Either the county doesn't care, or they simply CAN NOT handle the level of crime occurring in this town. It breaks my heart that Texans would allow people to bring their families into this county, without the slightest warning. I guarantee most of the Vendors, know exactly what is happening in this town, but neither they nor any official will say a word for obvious monetary reasons. I am only one person, but I am going to Austin to petition our Governor to get this County some real help, or at the very least give people the fair warning they deserve. There is an extremely dangerous mixing of unsuspecting families with hardened criminals, undocumented cartel members, and drug addicts. This post will most likely be removed by people with much better funding than I. David Blackwell, TEXAN
  • Love going here but be careful what you buy. Some people want to way overcharge and not even bargain or haggle.
  • You can almost find anything in Canton. You have to walk a lot though and be patient with the crowds. You can find rare vintage items, cheap trinkets to high end decor. Bring cash and comfy shoes with lots of patience. If you like shopping and hunting for stuff you will like this place. Come early.
  • Awesome shopping areas. Remember they r opened on certain weekends only. Check them out on google first
