  • Managed to use the lake and the swimming facility 25 times this season to train for an open water race. I want to thank Dick the facilities manager and his staff for a great summer. The place was immaculate and the life guards did a great job. See you next year...Dick's 27th year there!
  • Very clean. (Both men's and woman's ) were nice and clean as were the changing rooms. The provided grills for grilling were clean and well maintained. The downsides for me were the shallowness of the swimming area, parking (we did get lucky and find a close place ). And the biggest draw back is the huge monstrosity (eye sore) that are the uncompleted shells of buildings across from the park and lake front.
  • It's a nice neat like park at the north end of Canandaigua Lake. Nice play structure for kids and plenty of picnic tables to eat at in the park. There are also a couple of swings for you to enjoy the view of the lake. Drawbacks for me is there is not nearly enough trash receptacles, not even close. The swim area is also very tiny and the hours are limited (11-7 I believe).
  • Beautiful clean sandy beach. With lots of places to eat in walking distance
  • Canandaigua has always been a special place. Roseland and the old beach was wonderful, but the changes the city has made will ensure everyone can access the water. The management will handle the pressure that the shore will see only increase. I hope that the private development takes measures to do the same.
