  • The carriages were very interesting; history of days gone by. Docents were great, and very knowledgeable. Very nice.
  • Cool place with a lot of historical carriage to offer information on.
  • Went here forca winter festival... Out freaking standing location.
  • We were just there for civil war days. We had a blast
  • Granger Homstead and Carriage Museum has long been known as the former home of Gideon Granger, the first Post Master General of the United States, but many do not know of the exclusive carriage collection that is also a part of the homestead. It is an incredible collection of horse-drawn carriages (nearly 70 different types), everything from medical and commercial wagons, to surreys ( yes with the fringe on top), hearses, sleighs, and sporting vehicles representing transportation from the 19th century. You can just imagine what it must have been like driving your carriage down main street inthe 1800s. I would highly recommend a visit to Granger. There are carriages rides available throughout the summer and sleigh rides during winter months.
