  • If you have an animal obsession you MUST pay Out of Africa a visit. If you are anywhere in the vicinity make sure you check it out. Its not too far off the main highway. I made reservations online ahe...  more »
  • An excellent place to visit while traveling, but caution - it could be hot in the area. The wildlife was amazing, the shows exceptional, and the exposure to animals in a very positive way.  more »
  • What a lovely place, animals were well kept, keepers were friendly and we even kissed camel and giraffes. Animals were out and happy even mid day in the heat. Food is almost non-existent so be prepare...  more »

  • Out of Africa is a different kind of zoo but if you call it a zoo they will get upset because it's not a zoo it's a Wildlife Park and I would suggest bringing your walking shoes and planning on getting a little dirty because it's all in the dirt the walk pass or actually driving pathways and the shuttles come quite frequently so if you get halfway through it and you like I need a ride you can get a shuttle that will pick you up and then still tell you all the animals that you're not going to be able to stop and stare at you can still see most of the animals the enclosures aren't super huge to where you can't see any of the animals plus the animals are encouraged to kind of hang out by where the guests are anyways we saw the tiger show where are the tigers jump into the water and they chased the people around super awesome I would totally totally suggest it their snack food there was amazing a little pricey but that goes without saying any park or amusement park or Wildlife Park or Zoo has pricey food so we were pretty much expecting it but other than that it was an awesome adventure and I would totally suggest taking the bus ride through the exhibit that you get a free ticket for it when you buy your tickets to get in it's super awesome and the drivers are hilarious and fun and you get to feed a giraffe I mean that is just awesome and if you're brave enough you can do the giraffe kiss where you put the draft food in your mouth and they literally come and take it out of your mouth it is pretty interesting it's pretty interesting but whether you live in Arizona you're visiting Arizona or you're looking at visiting Arizona you should look into visiting the Out of Africa wildlife Park you will not be disappointed just make sure you bring water just like anything else in Arizona
  • This was a cool adventure . Lots of cool animals & snakes! Those that were safe roamed around to see interact with from the open bus/truck tours, I even had a giraffe take a carrot from my mouth. White to far show was interesting but I don't think the tiger enjoyed it much. Next time in Az. we will go back. Not to be missed is the town of Jerome, it's a very unique town.
  • The staff is incredibly pleasant and the exhibits are wonderful. The animals are clearly well cared for and the enclosures are spacious and comfortable and the animals are clearly not cooped up. The whole experience was truly fantastic and the price is agreeable (especially for the bundle). I had an amazing time and would gladly come again.
  • Not a zoo!! It's great to see animals that are happy and engaging instead of depressed animals trapped in cages. Loved our experience there! There staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. Truly a great experience!!
  • Far better than I expected. Very spread out, pay attention to the free transportation within the park. Check out the various scheduled shows so you don't miss any. They are very entertaining as well as educational. Everyone had fun at the end of the visit, 3 year old to 70 year old.
