  • Drove from Scottsdale on a cool December afternoon. Wished we had more time, as we did not get to walk the whole area of the park due to our late arrival. I enjoyed the bus tour through the pasture wi...  more »
  • I've been to Out of Africa about 10 times in four years, discovering new rescued animals, larger spaces for the animals to roam and new attractions--such as the Predator Zip Line. The zip line is abso...  more »
  • It was our first time at Out of Africa and my family loved seeing all the animals up close, the tiger show and tiger feeding was my daughter's favorite.
  • This place is AMAZING! The safari ride and Tiger Splash show are included in your entrance fee. You even get to feed a giraffe! You can leave and renter if you want to go elsewhere for food etc as long as you keep your wristband on. You can get in free every day of the month of your birthday. You just have to show ID. There are a lot of animals to see in enclosures that are designed after their natural habitats. The guides are awesome too! They know so much about the animals and they present it all in a fun, entertaining way. The gift shop is a bit scarce for people wanting a little trinket as a keepsake but we managed to find a few things to remember our visit by. We were an adult group and had a ton of fun. There were families with children there and my only recommendation for people with kids is make sure you watch them closely during your visit. You have a chance to get very close to some of the animals but you have to remember they are WILD animals. This place is amazing and a great place to have a nice day with family or friends.
  • This is a must stop!! Plan the entire day! We had a blast. From watching the hiena's laugh to petting a 17 foot Python, this is non stop fun. The staff is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Seriously can not say enough about three day we just had. It feels like you are transported to Africa on a safari. Search online for coupons! If we are ever in the area again we will undoubtedly stop again.
  • Private zoo well maintained. Have lions and tigers worth a watch. I wouldn't recommend the whole zip line tour instead take the combo tour giving zip line and other tours. Tiger Splash area and event is a must watch. Need more variety of animals. But definitely can't complain.hoping the zoo will evolve with time.
  • Seriously awesome place. We drove in from Dallas and were looking for something exciting and saw this place. When we first arrived we had some small doubts but after leaving we both agreed this is the best zoo either of us had been too. We paid for the $50 option which takes you through a tour of the place on a Unimog (its like a big truck) and you get to feed giraffe and camels and be very close with the animals. I have never been so close to so many exciting animals like Hyenas, tigers, lions, and bears! Great experience and would definitely recommend this to anyone going out that way. Props to our guide (forgot her name but super nice) for making it fun and educational.
  • We went with a group of 9 for our two 16 year old boy's birthdays. We were welcomed every step of the way. The Guides were lovely, each a great sense of humor. Fortunately it was a semi-cloudy day so the animals were all out and we could spot them all throughout the park. It's fun to walk to the Shows as well as ride the shuttle. The Tiger Splash is amazing and overall we had a great day. Thanks so much everyone at Out of Africa!!
