  • Free admission during your birthday month! I come to the park twice per year for birthdays, and I always have a great time. I love watching the splash shows and predator feedings. The big snake show turns into an introspective self help seminar about facing fears sometimes, but I still like it. Almost all of their animals are rescues, so I feel comfortable supporting the park. The staff are polite and seem to really enjoy what they do. The only complaint I have is that some guests let their kids run wild and climb all over everything. Other than that, it is a wonderful place to visit and I highly recommend it.
  • Fun place to spend the day. Kids will love it. Lots to see and do. Closer and better interaction than a typical zoo. Even the waffle cones had generous portions. Long exciting zip lines for the adventurous, fly over wildlife closures of lions, tiger, and bears.
  • I cannot rate this place high enough. Call and ask about discounts. Easy no matter the age. Minimal walking if you need that. Can walk the whole park if you desire. Amazing experience. Up close interaction with beautiful animals. And you can feed a giraffe!!!
  • Most amazing time I've had in years! I kissed a giraffe! Extended walking, but a free tram circles the park. VERY friendly & knowledgeable staff. They all welcomed questions and guest interaction. Animals are well kept in natural settings. They don't train or force animals to preform so every experience is different. Late summer or early fall best time to view all the animals. I HIGHLY recommend spending the day here!
  • Wow, talk about getting close to the lions, tigers and other beautiful animals! Walking through the park I almost felt a bit unsafe to turn and see a lion laying there, just on the other side of a chainlink fence. But truly it is a cool experience! The people who manage the park seen knowledgeable and caring of the animals and visitors. The guides and tiger show are excellent and worth the visit in itself. The park is more rugged than the zoo, which makes for a better experience because you feel like you are more part of it, and the animals are out and about, you actually get to see them (unlike the Phoenix Zoo). If you're going with small children, be aware it's not like the zoo, there are no fancy play areas. It is definitely kid friendly, just more natural and rouged. Overall, a must visit place and one of the most fun to see African wildlife in Arizona!
