  • We had a great time ziplining, we were just looking for a place to zip line, so the animals were a plus. Even tho I'm not one for any caged animals, they were mostly rescued pets. It's a good place. O...  read more »
  • This is a private park and isn’t prim and proper like Disney or Six Flags, in fact it’s very rustic and dusty but the variety of animals is outstanding. You can get up close to tigers, bears and giraf...  read more »

  • If you go bring a spray bottle and a white umbrella because it's HOT. The water is expensive so plan ahead. This park is great though. The tiger splash was really nice but the laughing hyenas were my favorite part. I also enjoyed the safari. The giraffe was cool to get close to. Admission is free if it is your birthday month.
  • We went with a group of 9 for our two 16 year old boy's birthdays. We were welcomed every step of the way. The Guides were lovely, each a great sense of humor. Fortunately it was a semi-cloudy day so the animals were all out and we could spot them all throughout the park. It's fun to walk to the Shows as well as ride the shuttle. The Tiger Splash is amazing and overall we had a great day. Thanks so much everyone at Out of Africa!!
  • We loved it! Had a three year with us. Sure it was kinda hot, but we brought water with us. The staff is friendly. It's maybe a bit pricey for what it is. Some of the areas could use some upkeep/landscaping/cleaning. Parts appeared run down. The tiger show is something to see. We got to pet/touch some cool creatures from south america too. Its only 1/2 hour from Sedona. Will probably return some day.
  • This place is the best! So many animals across the park, it takes a full day to see everything. Definitely worth the drive from Phoenix for a day trip. General admission gave you acess to a lot, and then they had Add-ons that were extra(zip line, feed the tiger, longer safari tour) Free entry during your Birth Month. If you don't take advantage of that, you're wasting your money. Limited food options, lots of sun in the summer, but that's expected in a place like this.
  • We had such a great time. We visited in December 2015. The weather was 70 degrees and dry. We bought the bus tour and really enjoyed feeding the giraffe. Lots of great exhibits. The tigers were reluctant to go into the water since it was cooler. I think the big cats are beautiful but the hyenas are fascinating! Big ole python, yikes!
