  • I never get tired of Apple Mountain. It has magnificiant vistas, flora, fauna and plays like Augusta. It is short with a lot of character. Amazingly enough is still underplayed most of the time. Price...  more »
  • My husband loves golfing there but we stopped just to practice at the driving range. Beautiful views. It's name is as it says a mountain so the golfing is not flat land and very challenging.
  • Probably one of the prettiest golf courses in the area. Like playing golf in a national forest. However, be warned: it's target golf with virtually no level lies. When you miss, you MISS(it's gone). I...  more »

  • I have been a regular here since 2007 and have to say that no one is exaggerating here about how beautiful the course is, nor how challenging it is. Bring lots of balls for if you're not in the fairway, there's a 50/50 chance it is lost or unretrievable. Lots of elevation changes... forced carries... and uneven lies. Some greens can be diabolical depending on pin placement. Good to help get that handicap up without sandbagging. Always in great shape, but does not drain/evaporate moisture well due to lots of low spots and shade. Be prepared for squishy conditions in Winter with heavy rain, but weather is usually good year round (and very bearable temps in Summer). Course is a lot of fun, has a great staff, and is quite the bargain. Pace of play can sometimes be frustrating if groups in front of you feel the need to search for every ball that misses the fairway. Drop another one folks and get on with it... you ain't on tour. Highly recommended!
  • If you get a chance, try to talk to someone other than Rose in the Pro Shop. She is sincerely not interested in helping you.
  • Just called the Pro Shop about a Tournament, and they put me on hold for several minutes. I called back several times and they never answered. Terrible service!!
  • Tuff course for high handicaps,it's beautyfull and awesome!!
  • Great golf course Beautiful views and challenging with narrow fairways Trees lined up on both sides In middle of mountains
