  • This is one of those places where location is've been driving about 2 hours and about to switch nature calls and we figured ok time to find a MCD or BK..but instead we find this p...  read more »
  • This is a huge shop with lots of Native American handmade items. There are items running in the tens of thousands of dollars down to the usual few dollar t-shirts and trinkets.
  • We toured the length and breadth of the area several American States, I must say that this is not only stocked with any native artifact and not (made in china and produced original) but also of all those bits and bobs from souvenir type shirts etc is absolutely worth visiting it since with just one visit is easy to be able to buy all the presents for friends and family!

  • It was clean, quite and comfortable. The trading post is celebrating 100 years. It is pet friendly, we took our dog to the Grand Canyon. Although there is limited dog walking grassy areas. We took her to the area near the 100 year old bridge, which unfortunately you can only look at because you can't walk on it. Had the patty melt in the restaurant at the trading post and it was very tasty. I definitely recommend this hotel if you are traveling in the area. Book early on holidays. The hotel was fully booked for Labor Day weekend.
  • This is the most incredible motel to find when you consider it is in an out of the way place. Only a short drive to the Grand Canyon and a very competitive rate. The quality of our room was far above expectation and the staff are superb. Don't miss this gem.
  • The scenery and rooms were of nice quality. Lack of pool and vending food machines were less than ideal after a long day hiking. Had no person at the front desk past 9pm so when we ran into issues it had to wait till morning. On a separate note, at the time of this review the only nearby food restaurant or store is the hotel restaurant. If you plan on be out past 9:30pm food will not be option.
  • Had an awesome experience. Arrived late in the evening and still was able to have an incredible dinner. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Would definitely go back!
  • Never had blue corn pancakes, they were great! Also tried prickly pear French toast, first rate. Beautiful antique apothecary furniture, amazing metalwork ceiling, spectacular views; this place is fantastic! Gift shop looked upscale, had great products, and reasonable prices. I'm going there again next road trip!
