  • My husband and I were just married last Saturday and took an impromptu trip to the Ozarks, calling Casa De Loco on a whim and we are glad we did! Larry the owner & his events manager Crystal we awesome, we came mid-week so we virtually had the place to ourselves! We enjoyed a morning of canoeing & an evening of excellent wine. I am planning a girls weekend there next and my husband and I have decided to make a yearly trip from Indiana here on!
  • Even though it's not too far off Highway 54, Casa de Loco gives you a beautifully remote and isolated place to enjoy conversations and drinks with friends. People on here are complaining and giving negative reviews about bad cellphone service, rude employees, and bugs in the room? Give me a break! You're fairly deep in the woods. There are bugs in the woods. If you don't like nature...stay somewhere else! If you're worried about bad cellphone service...stay somewhere else! The buildings here are very old! Everything may not work 100%, or 100% quickly, but the staff when notified, will make an effort to fix it. Consider this place more of a camping trip with cabins then a hotel. If you go here expecting a 5-star hotel, you will be disappointed. My brother, 5 friends, and I stayed this past weekend for a float trip and bachelor party. Larry, Crystal, and the rest of the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. It was a very quiet place this weekend which is exactly what I was hoping for. We practically had the place to ourselves. There was only a few other guests at the hotel who were also friendly. It was very relaxing. The staff offered to leave the music and lights on at the patio for us so we could continue hanging out and chat there. The views are amazing from all their patios and their wine tasting is fun and informative. It took a long time to cool down the cottage (where two of us stayed), but it was very comfortable by the time we went to bed. We noticed the thermostat needed batteries replaced, but the office provided them to us and everything was cool. The river was high, which made it an exceptional float. We will definitely come back! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and your help in making it a great weekend!
  • Great!!! Worth the drive! We went for a wine tasting and lunch! It was so delicious and the wine was great! Please go!
  • Beautiful place. Friendly staff. Great wine, especially the Casa Cooler. Live music.Only issue we had is that our car sits low and the road up was a little rough but it was worth it.
  • Was there as recommended by Trip Advisor and it was outstanding. Very friendly atmosphere. We did a wine tasting and it was fantastic. Don't be fooled by the road there though. I thought I made a wrong turn but it is just that remote, which makes it great. Can't wait to go back.
