  • This was hard to rate. We picked the day for an advertised Strawberry/Nature event. When we got there the event was a paper strawberry fan the children could color. There was not much of a "garden" an...  more »
  • Total waste of money. Nothing to see but a rickety train, rusted carousel and maybe a handful of butterflies. Worst $26 spent in Philly. Very disappointed.  more »
  • I took my 5 year old grandson. He had a great time he loved the train ride (he loves trains), the playground, merry go round and butterfly house the most. I'm glad he had the experience but I doubt he...  more »

  • The train ride and carousel cost an additional $2 per person, but we're gentle fun for all. The kids loved the splash zone where they entertained themselves for over an hour. However, it was miniscule and offered the least of all such splash areas we have visited. The butterfly house was delightful. That's about all there was. My amateur garden outshone the greenery at the Children's Garden. Other areas were in neglect. My final impression was that new management and direction were greatly needed. Not worth the $10/person entry fee. Someone out there who has the authority, please help the untapped potential awaiting. The city of Camden certainly could use a little positive P.R. (Oh,BTW, on the weekday we visited there were two other families who visited. That's it.)
  • Great for small children! I have 2 under 3 and this place is great for them. The train ride, carousel and butterfly house are always highlights for my kids. It's small but it's for smaller kids. If the splash pad is open we can spend a couple hours here.
  • It's a nice cheap day out. If your expecting Six Flags go to Six Flags. You can regularly find 4 for $20 deals on Groupon which makes it super affordable.
  • Affordable fun that occupies a few hours. Awesome carousel with a variety of animals to choose to ride on. Conveniently located by the aquarium. Highly recommend!
  • We've visited several times and plan to become members next year. The garden is just the right size for my 4yo - small and manageable. We love the carousel, the train, the viewing area above the tunnels, the butterfly house, and the dinosaur sculptures. Seems priced fairly to me at $8/pp (compared to HOW much at the aquarium?!?!) and rides are extra.
