We were able to see some interesting collections. We are not museum people. But enjoy to learn something new or just see something of the things we study. It also inexpensive activities to do.  more »

Very interesting exhibits and history - ranges from Native American artifacts to an extensive taxidermy collection. Be sure to explore the entire museum, there is definitely something for everyone here!

This Museum is a little hard to find but is an unexpected gem if you are interested in Archaeology and Ethnology. It's off the list of high trafficked sites but a nice stop.

A diamond in the rough of Boston museums. Extensive collection of ethnographic arts. Some are the last of their kind from a forgotten culture.

I had a great time! I loved the newer exhibits, the Harvard Indian School exhibit was my favorite, I loved everything about its design, particularly the layered drawers showing the levels of excavation. I also appreciated the explicit mention of NAGPRA and modern Native Americans as living people.
