  • I was disappointed. It was smaller and leas extensive than I had expected. The displays that were there were of a high quality but I didn't really get an overall view of MIT and how it has spanned the years. I did enjoy the display of mechanical artworks (see picture) which was a great example of human ingenuity. Kudos for the free wifi which is widely available.
  • Small, but cheap, especially for students. The exhibits are 100% worth it, lots of fascinating things that aren't done justice except by physical proximity. Well worth your time, especially the "gestural engineering" installations.
  • Actually a pretty interesting exposition for a free museum. The section with robots and the one about big data were the ones I liked the most.
  • It was interesting and fun. Although it is museum so do not expect to see the newest technology here. All exhibits are old. It would be nice to show at such place some cutting edge stuff.
  • This is a small museum that packs in a lot of exhibits - many are hands on. I can't imagine anyone having a disappointing visit here and expect that the negative reviews are written by students from other schools in a rivalry sort of way. My tween daughter and I visited here on July 6 afternoon and I had to pull her away from the place - she loved every bit of it. I was fascinated by the holograms and many of the intricately complex exhibits. We ended up spending an hour here - more than most sites we visited in Boston. This is included with the Boston Go Card and I highly recommend.
