  • Subway station and go out on the ground, saw signs of the "COOP M. I. T." on the other side of the street. To the school of the M. I. T., more from here about 1 km West.

  • The first time I was driving by the famous dome and thought: "Wow, on TV looks bigger, more imposing. Until the next day I did the tour and calmly could surprise me. That beautiful! I went in the winter and the front of the lawn was covered with snow. After the tour (which is highly recommended) was already getting late: one more surprise to see that white building with various colors behind.

  • Institute of first level, worth knowing. There to access the hall of the main building before 3 pm and resorting to the tour guide. If you arrive after that time, one can become your own tour with a map to that same advantage. You have access to the classroom, that is super interesting, one can see a University day live without any inconvenience. The people are very warm and macanuda. Their gift shop is worth visiting, as well as books, clothing of MIT, various souvenirs and very innovative and fun games for kids. One can visit the more modern building which is great, the tables legs are balls of tennis, as well as also has a room for children and a gym for students. In a day you can visit Harvard and MIT perfectly.

  • Really loved walking the campus. Found a self guided tour online via Google search. Visited on a weekend. Imagine it being a different experience during the week I wish I could have went to such a school. Really nice.
  • The Massachusetts Institute of Technology ( MIT) is a private research university in Cambridge, Massachusetts , United States. Founded in 1861 in response to the increasing industrialization of the United States , MIT adopted a European polytechnic university model and stressed laboratory instruction in applied science and engineering . Researchers worked on computers , radar and inertial guidance during World War II and the Cold War . Post-war defense research contributed to the rapid expansion of the faculty and campus under James Killian . The current 168-acre (68.0 ha) campus opened in 1916 and extends over 1 mile (1.6 km) along the northern bank of the Charles River basin .
  • I visited the main building and there was so much to see. The teachers and students were able to be viewed in class and you got to see what the team was working on in technology. I also got to see people in clubs and very into it. I hope I get to go here when I'm older and will do my best to work hard to achieve my goal on attending here.
  • One of the best universities in the country and in the state of Massachusetts if you like science and computer technology and anything related to innovation. There’s a beautiful coffee place near the university for the students to take breaks but the downside of it is there’s a lot of tourists.
  • My five star review is base on what i learned from mit open course experience. its great place to learn. i recommend mit courses.
