  • Surprised by how much different art is displayed. Spent a lot more time on this visit than I planned. Great cafĂ©, but lots of competition for seating with students.  more »
  • A very interesting combination of old and new architecture, and art from many eras. It's great to have it all in one place now.  more »

  • This is a very good museum. Lots of interesting art from all kinds of periods and places. They have some great guest exhibits too. In addition, the building itself is pretty cool, and the cafe is decent.
  • spent all day sunday here great coolection and a fine exhibition of austrailian aboriginal art
  • I was surprised at the quality and quantity of art here. Beautiful art that includes Picasso, Renoir, Miro, Etc... The museum is free if you live in Cambridge - don't forget to bring proof of residency. It's also free on Saturdays from 10am-noon for Massachusetts residents. Highly recommended. It's a short walk from the T.
  • You can see a wide variety of art objects, historical marks, get an insight into many epochs. Not deep, scientific insight, but a glance at the art as a whole, at its diversity and extent. Art learning is a never ending process, isn't it?
  • Amazing place. From contemporary work to historical works and a nice cafe and gift shop all in one place
