Scenic Drive
Drive along Moonstone Beach Dr and make your way down the coastline surrounded by sand dunes, beachfront homes, and sweeping ocean views. Running right next to Highway 1, the route represents a more scenic alternative, bringing you closer to the sea itself and allowing you to drive at a slower pace. Stop along your way to wander the numerous stretches of boardwalk throughout the area and take in the sandy cliffs and trees that form the landscape around you. Keep your eyes peeled and you may even get to view a colony of seals snoozing on the beach. Put Moonstone Beach Dr and other Cambria attractions into our Cambria vacation planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Place is lovely! Right across from the beach! Great breakfast nice pool and jacuzzi! 2nd time here. Great friendly staff! A must! Fireplaces in certain rooms.
  • Amazing views! Great room! Everything was exactly as stated on their web site. Super friendly & helpful staff. We'll be back for sure!!
  • The hotel room was good. It was clean and the free breakfast was definitely a plus in my book.
  • This is a really nice place to stay. The room was excellent and clean with special folded tissues for extra style points! The pool and jacuzzi were awesome! We stayed here for a day to beat the heat in SLO during a crazy heat wave in October. It was affordable and that is why we picked it. They must have a very special cleaning staff because in addition to the folded tissues, they make the beds up with special folding to look like a present. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
  • Great location if you can look over the bad and the ugly. The good: -Free wifi -Free breakfast (hot breakfast with waffles, sausages, powdered eggs, pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea) -Super hot showers -Fireplace in room -Seconds from Moonstone Beach Boardwalk -Minutes walk to the beach The bad: -No phone reception (can survive with wifi) -Walls are a bit thin The ugly: -TV cable reception cut in and out (gave up watching the Warriors game) -In-room mini fridge super noisy (had to unplug) Would come back if the price is right, but will likely shop around for a different hotel.
