This hotel was beyond our expectations, an amazing room with comfort and a great shower. The pool area fits every need. A quite place even though kids are welcome.  more »

This is a nice place to go if you want/need to soak in the hot springs from Mt Helena. The rooms are clean and the pools are wonderful. As a hotel guest you get access to the pool until 11 pm and in t...  more »

I really wish I had taken the time to read some of these reviews before going here. We had a bad feeling from the moment we walked in the door and weren't even sure we were in the right place. The adj...  more »

We stay at this hotel a few times a year. What a beautiful area and the hotel is absolutely perfect. Clean rooms, kitchenette (which we always use for cooking dinner), bathrooms are clean and renovated. Beds are comfortable. Check-ins and outs easy and swift. Will continue our family tradition and enjoy this hotel.

The room we have is great. Upgraded. Has a kitchen to prepare meals and bed is very comfortable. The Hot Springs are great. There are 3...a pool at 80 degrees. Another smaller Pool at 100 degrees and the best is the 104 degrees. The water feels amazing and the Hotel is very clean with a nice gym. Will come back again.

Please explain what justifies raising the prices for a mud bath (which are the best in the area) by 50%?! There was NO renovation to the men's side whatsoever, which is fine because we come for the mud, but again...see above. Also, unless you go on a chilly, rainy day, expect it to be a version of Magic Kingdom with kids everywhere. "Spa..."? Really? Even my earphones couldn't compete with the noise. The mud is spectacular but at $99 + gratuity, I'll think twice about going again. Sad, as the saying seems to go these days...It used to be a spectacular getaway.

We've been going here off and on for 45 years. It's changed a lot recently. The variously described 80 or 85 degree lap pool is much warmer making it easy for children and other non lap swimmers to linger...for hours..throwing balls, using large flotation devices, etc. My skin is quite sensitive to a dirty pool, and it was hot-tub temperature and dirty on our first day although 2 days later a strong bleach smell indicated that they had likely shocked it, but it was still much too warm although somewhat cooler and cleaner feeling then. The room walls were not made for noise of any sort, fine if everybody is relatively quiet. Our neighboring rooms were anything but quiet. A light bulb was out. The toilet ran. The faucet didn't work right. And...the town folk are upset with management, as they no longer have any access to the hot water that brings people there. Too many problems to talk about the good things and there were good things.

The pool is awesome and (once) quite famous. The mud bath comes from mud heated by springs nearby. I thought it would be amazing. It's kind of meh. You sit in tub and they cover you with mud for a bit. I thought it would be warmer. Then you go to a super cold tub to cool off and then proceed to a dark quiet room to cool down. It's cool and fun to do but not sure if it is worth the fee. I'd rather personally spend it on a massage instead.
