  • Who LAD on the way from LA to Vegas is coming may be right next to the Park. A small detour to visit the great rock formations is worthwhile in any case. If one drive goes through, makes photos and does not migrate, you must plan barely longer than a half hour. Necessarily go the loop through the campsite.

  • We did not see the really tall red stones in the pictures. Maybe you had to walk a long way. Unfortunately we could not ask for directions since the office was closed. Not a very red canyon, but beaut...  read more »
  • Another great place to camp and hike in CA, this place is very beautiful and has tons of stuff to climb on. I have never had problems getting a camp site, and if you read this and go, I hope that is the same case for you. The best place to watch the sunrise is from the rocks at the entrance, its absolutely beautiful.
  • A great desert campground. Lots of good hiking trails but mind your footing. I took a tumble once and the cacti and rocks are unforgiving.
  • Beautiful area. Clean facilities. The wind gusts tho...on HOLY FUQ! We camped there Jan.22/23rd. The 22nd perfect...the 23rd full moon and jesus christ I thought it was the end of the world! Beware this place is merciless as well as majestic! Go experience it's wonder. The boyfriend and I started a new beginning here - amazing! So will you!
  • Beautiful landscape to check out, if you can do the red Rock loop, that is amazing, dirt road.
  • Nice park, a little $$$ for dry camping and hard to level. Nice Rock formations and ORV trails around and to the north. Stayed in a Truck camper.
