  • Incredible redwoods covered in fog very close to the coast. It is one of the most heavenly places I've ever seen. Definitely a must do if you are in the area. I would give it a 100 on a scale of 1 to ...  read more »

  • We just came home from a wonderful vacation driving the Oregon coast. One of our stops was this campground. It's beautiful and so what we were looking for. We made reservations months ago and were so excited when we pulled in. Until the rangers came to our site. We made reservations on the wed site and were assigned a spot in the conformation email it was a handicap spot they assigned us. He said we were parked illegally and it would be another fee for our 2 night stay. We already prepaid for our stay. Would not move us and offered to call the police. We are a family on vacation with our 7 year old daughter. She could not understand why the ranger was so mean to us. He was rude and it was very upsetting to be treated in this matter. We did not ask for this spot and nor did we know it was a handicap spot. I hoping this gets to the right person. Because I would love to speak with the person in charge. It would not let me post until I gave one star but I would have gone 0! We left and went to another park and had a wonderful time! We are still out the money we spent on our 2 nights. But we were not going to be out anymore money! It felt like the rangers were trying to (roll) us for under the table money for there own pockets. Something someone should look into I would feel bad if this happens to some other family!
  • i stayed 3 days at mill creek campground in may during the rhododendron bloom. beautiful campground in the redwoods. it's 3 miles down from hwy 101 so you really feel like you are deep in the woods. flush toilets but as with all state parks, bring your own soap. i love it!
  • It's been a long time since I've seen the beach. Luckily I brought my wife and dog to the beach for the first time. The black sands were phenomenal and although it was kinda chilly, it was very enjoyable.
  • Great campground with good facilities. No rv hookups so make sure your battery is charged. Camp site was very private.
  • The Angel trees are just awesome! One of the coolest places I have ever been. Beauty at every turn!
