  • Great farm for younger kids and family. You can feed most animals, is like $.50 or a $1 for a bag of corn/feed. A lot of holiday themed activities and merchandise. Iā€™d say their best themed holiday is Halloween time. During holiday season weekends are crazy crowded. Best to try and make a trip during the week. There are public restrooms and snacks can be purchased inside.
  • A large lot with a petting zoo, pumpkins and a store with an amazing selection of nuts, candies and salsas. This place is famous for their harvest festival and giant pumpkin patch with a large variety to choose from , all of which are for sale. There is also a made to meander through that is a kid magnet. This is a wonderful place to take the kids. One caveat I'd like to mention is the hayride to the pumpkin patch costs $2.50 for anyone over eighteen months old. So come prepared to pay that or to walk about three hundred yards to the patch.
  • This place is a good one to bring kids and dogs on leashes. There are donkey rides for little ones and craft booths for everyone. There are a couple of vendors who sell hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue which is quite good. The Nut Farm itself has lots of dried fruits, nuts and flavored Taffy's, among other things. The only drawback is that there really isn't that much to do or see.
  • Great for all ages but little ones will love it most of all I'm sure. Lots of nut trees of course, an area with well kept after live animals of all kinds, you can bring your dog (on a leash) a small town square with a big main shop with lots of craft goods, local fair, nuts of course and amazing fudge of many types that will ruin your diet and regular craft fairs and themed events. I highly recommend checking it out, all ages will enjoy Bates nut farm.
  • October is the seasons for pumpkins. Just loved the place. Went with my daughter and my grandchildren, along with my great- grandchild. We all enjoyed every moment of it. Pony rides for the young and hay rides too and alot of other events going on for October month. Was fun or should I say, we as family enjoyed it. šŸ˜ƒ
