  • Rocky Mountain Roosters is an outstanding location for pheasant hunting. They have a large area for hunts and the number of hunters kept to a very manageable number to provide a safe environment. Ampl...  more »
  • I have never been disappointed at Rocky Mountain Roosters. Awesome hunting experience. When you compare the prices to places in South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas, this place is a no-brainer. Brett, Sc...  more »

  • What a great place to hunt! I took my 13 year old son there for his first bird hunt a couple of weeks ago. He had a blast! Didn't want to go home. I think we have a new hunter for life. Our guides, Dale and Amber, and their dogs got us onto LOTS of pheasants. OK, we missed more than we should have, but we had plenty for our family to eat by day's end. It's a bit of a drive from the Denver area, but well worth it! Also, a little pricey. But for my son's first hunt, it was a huge success! Thanks for your great hospitality! We will definitely do it again.
  • Been a member the last few years. These guys do it right. Great people. Genuinely care about their community of hunters and create a great experience for guests. Big and beautiful acreage for hunting and working Dogs. Great guides and dogs if needed. Private pistol and rifle ranges for members in the off season. Good food from local ladies served over lunch on the weekends... it's a great way to spend a day with friends or just you, your dog and a LOT of birds!
  • I went here when i was a bit younger, it was fun and we shot a lot of birds. Our guide wasn’t the best though he was a bit rude. The dog was well trained and my uncles and I had a blast though. Definitely will come back again and experience it.
  • Quick summary: it's the best upland game bird hunting ranch I've been to, but it is really expensive. I've always had a good time here. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Everyone you meet seems to have a good attitude. It is however, crazy expensive. I've only gone when I wasn't the person who had to pay! I don't know if the prices are competitive with other hunting ranches, but it is more than I would want to spend. We most recently did the quail hunt on the area they call quail hill and it was really great. The birds hid well, and flew well for the most part when the flushed. When I've hunted pheasant here they are sometimes a little sluggish and don't want to fly. Wild birds are more fun to hunt, I'd recommend making friends with people in NE Colorado, the pheasants have been pretty great there the last several years.
  • Had a great time. The staff was fun and friendly. I will be going again and again. Thanks for the fun!!!!!!
