  • Quick summary: it's the best upland game bird hunting ranch I've been to, but it is really expensive. I've always had a good time here. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Everyone you meet seems to have a good attitude. It is however, crazy expensive. I've only gone when I wasn't the person who had to pay! I don't know if the prices are competitive with other hunting ranches, but it is more than I would want to spend. We most recently did the quail hunt on the area they call quail hill and it was really great. The birds hid well, and flew well for the most part when the flushed. When I've hunted pheasant here they are sometimes a little sluggish and don't want to fly. Wild birds are more fun to hunt, I'd recommend making friends with people in NE Colorado, the pheasants have been pretty great there the last several years.
  • I'v been hunting upland birds at RMR for many years. It's a great hunting experience that I can share with family, friends and my clients. I've never had a bad hunt. Their guides are top notch and their dogs work well with mine making the experience fun every time. Each hunt is it's own as the terrain and fields are different in each hunting area. For the money it is the best hunting around.
  • Always enjoy a quick hunt here. Good facility and good mix of hunting terrain. Been here many times over the years and always enjoy it.
  • Best preserve hunting in CO!! Affordable and birds flush great!! Guides work hard and good dogs!!
  • I started going to Rocky Mountain Roosters with a colleague to entertain clients. RMR quickly replaced golf for our client outings as our preferred way to build relationships and thank our business partners. It's fast, fun and close to home. The facilities, guides and quality of hunting at RMR is second to none, and is one of the best bangs we get for our bucks (no pun intended). After experiencing RMR, I signed up for a membership of my own. Many, many thanks to all of the top-notch guides, and of course their top-notch hunting dogs, that make for an unforgettable experience hunting upland game birds in Colorado.
