  • The hiking trail was scenic and suitable for beginners. The peak of the hill on the trail has a view that I certainly recommend. I had a fantastic time visiting with my family and would definitely come here again. Admission was really cheap!
  • We went for the day,4th of July got there at 10am good time was able to get a seat ,very small place for day use user only, only like 7 grills, you need to get there early for a good seat, swimming area there was some rocks, one the best views was the drive there ,not too satisfied oh DEVILS GATE cliff if your new its Private Property to get there, only if you have a boat you can get there.its a private community .Camp spruce Brady ymca looks better, and Brazos river authority has better view and more things to do.
  • We stayed in the Shady Grove section and it was absolutely beautiful! The only complaint I would give is that the bathrooms and showers were not very clean and there weren't any shower curtains on showers.
  • Love camping and fishing out this state park. Swimming is nice a relaxing even with youngsters.
  • The whole faminy loves this place.
