  • We love Buck Hill! It's only 15 mins from where we live. This is where we go to for skiing, snow tubing and sometimes happy hour at Black Diamond restaurant. The lift ticket prices and snow tubing pri...  more »
  • This obviously is not skiing in the Mountains but for what they have to work with it is alright for a hour or two of skiing. The place does a good job as making it as good as possible and they have up...  more »
  • At least it is named appropriately. Good place for starting skiers. Not difficult hills at all and sometimes over crowded. Expensive for what it is, but it is 5 minutes away so we have kept up some sk...  more »

  • A great bang for the buck, no pun intended. Friendly staff, nice variety of runs, and competitive prices. Awesome tubing hills too. The bar and restaurant called Black Diamond has great food and a decent beer selection. The cafeteria has good food as well.
  • I'm sure it's a nice place but we drive 8 hrs to get up here and ski on the 4th of July weekend, planned our whole holiday trip around summer skiing here... only to arrive and find out they're closed. After looking on the website, there was a note posted about them being closed but it had to be scrolled down to on a the hours page and wasn't clearly posted. Very disappointing to arrive and find the one place open for summer skiing isn't open on the biggest weekend of summer.
  • Amazing place! Fun for anyone of all ages. You can watch your little ones ski or snowboard from inside! There are high quality concessions to buy also.
  • I love going to buck!!! They ski hills are nice and fun to ski on. They have a good terrain park with decent jumps and some rails and boxes. I do like that you need varying amounts of skill for each hill. For example the bunny hill is very calm and easy to ski on, whereas black diamond requires more skill. I love this ski resort. However I am giving it 4 stars because a lift is over priced. Overall, Buck Hill is great ski resort if you are willing to pay the price.
  • Nice variety of small hills, medium hills. and snowboarding areas as well. Slopes are frequently groomed and, considering the warm winter we've had, snow is often in decent condition. Recently, our Boy Scout council had an overnight lock-in at Buck Hill and the prices for the event were very reasonable (especially considering that we spent 8 hours there). My kids always enjoy going to Buck Hill.
