Park · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
The Arena is always bustling with excitement. We are open almost year round (we close May/June for maintenance and repairs) and have something for everyone. Whether your interests are figure skating, hockey, broomball or just skating with friends during public skating sessions, you are sure to find a great deal of fun and exercise at Leddy. We are proud to be home ice facility for Burlington's youth hockey organization (BAHA), Burlington and Colchester boys & girls high school hockey teams, Vermont Lumberjacks Junior Hockey, Full Stride adult hockey, and the Champlain Valley Skating Club, which includes Vermont Children's Theatre on Ice and On Thin Ice adult theatre troupe!

We offer a number of public skating times open to the public as well as stick and puck sessions, where you can bring your stick, skates and a helmet to either improve your shot, or join in a small game. We also have ice times available for private rentals for your group or party or for private instruction. At $195 per hour for the Olympic ice or $95 per hour for the studio ice, it is a great affordable way to have your own private skate. We also offer birthday parties on ice - one hour in the party room upstairs and one hour on the studio ice for $120. Call 802-865-7558 to check for availability.

  • This is one of the few beaches that you don’t have to pay to park. In the summertime they have food trucks! Lots of fun. Very kid friendly  more »
  • Briefly staying in Burlinton this summer。 Found a great ice rink with terrific ice and really friendly people。But there‘s more。 There is also an uncrowded beach on lake Champlain, a free kayak...  more »
  • Nice views, far to much garbage around. Will be REALLY crowded on hot summer days, so, people watching will be good, getting a spot to actually enjoy not so easy. Lots of kids, some out of control of....  more »
  • It's one of the best hidden lake beaches in the northern east. Clean and not crowded at all. The scenery is beautiful. There is parking and large pic nic tables and restrooms. We went on a sunny Saturday and it was not crowded at all. Best of all there is free parking and no entrance fee. Highly recommended. Even paying lake beaches don't get close to this one. Very large and beautiful beach.
  • A great cozy beach on lake Champlain. The beach is narrow and small, so if it is a holiday weekend, it can get quite crowded, but is a great alternative to the more popular North Beach. The parking is free, however, you do have a walk about 8 minutes to get to the beach.
  • The park had picnic tables & a grill, where families enjoyed a meal. The beach portion was very clean and very kid friendly.
  • Love this beach, it is typically much quieter than North Beach and less crowded. Perfect beach to relax at
  • A nice, quiet park with good parking and access to the trail. Steps down to the fantastic 'new england' beach for a great walk and view.
