  • Coming from Boston we expected more. But itโ€™s a childrenโ€™s museum with a few fish tanks. Kids ran a muck and were literally running out of the building unattended. If your an adult couple skip it. I w...  more »

  • This place is a must visit if you have kids. Clean, engaging, and small enough that you can go through the entire place in a couple of hours, or tarry if you care to. The animal exhibits are some of the best I've seen, and the staff here are knowledgeable and friendly. All of us, kids and adults alike had an excellent time here.
  • a very neat, though not huge, museum. Great for younger kids and includes a fun play area upstairs. When we visited there was a play area set up downstairs also including some huge foam blocks. Our little one loved watching the fish.
  • This is an absolute must see for EVERYONE! I used to go here as a wee lad(y)... My mum's would bring us kiddos to be educated, and there is infinite learning opportunities. Since, they have renovated, and made it quite the museum. (If that's what it's called...) I recently visited for a 'Teen Challenge, Vermont' GALA. There is a great space for events. I think Essex High school has hosted proms at this location, even. Go, learn, enjoy! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  • Wonderful place to bring the kids. They always are making new learning centers and activities. They seem to really care about making it a wonderful place. I'd highly recommended going!
  • A bit smaller than big city Maritime museum and aquarium, but well kept and nice, nonetheless. Had a butterfly exhibit in August that was beautiful!
