I would not recommend visiting this park - we went for the view, expecting to find a well maintained park setting. Unfortunately we found it to be littered with garbage, and occupied by vagrants... more »
Great job by all involved with the Vermont City Marathon. Appreciate the later marathon start - watching the weather and projected thunderstorms. I would imagine on a non-race day this park is a... more »
Nice little park for an afternoon stroll. We stayed near the park and walked down one day, it was nice but not something I would go out of my way for. The views are nice and some good historical... more »
Absolutely stunning. Burlington Vt has some amazing views as well as people! I'd even say they're nicer than most Canadians! I miss it already. Thanks VT!
Is a really pretty area. My only complaint is that the should be more (usable) bathrooms, especially for large events. When my mom and I were there on Sunday afternoon for Pride Day, there were two port-a-potties in addition to the two single- stall restrooms, but the two port-a-potties were locked with the kind of key lock you ot on lockers.
The Sunday I arrived up here was absolutely stunning! I had no idea there was going to be an LGBT event going on, but I was so glaad it happened on the day I came up!!! That drag show was GORGEOUS
This was a nice park. It overlooks Champlain from a higher altitude than by the waterfront parks where most people go. I thought his park was very peaceful because of that. They also have a stage space where music can be played. This park is a little out of the way but it's not a far walk and it's well worth it!
One of the best places to visit in Burlington. Beautiful views over looking Lake Champlain. Nice grassy area with concerts during the summer. Unfortunately it's become a hangout spot for groups of people who drink FourLoko at 10am. Would be nice if there was more recreation available here. A basketball court maybe?
