Atwater Estate Vineyards Reviews
Stopped by in December to replenish our supply of Their wonderful Chardonnay. Enjoyed a nice tasting overlooking their sunny back deck. Great staff pouring samples. Love this place. !! more »
My wife loves their wines. Especially their Celsius and Farenheit ice wines. She not only drinks the for desert, but loves them any time. more »

Beautiful winery. Most impressive was the view on the lake and the vineyard. The staff was knowledgable, polite and friendly. The usage of ipads for e.g. payment & contest sign-up was innovative and quick. We liked their sweet wine selection made from native grapes. This winery was our most favorite on this side of the Seneca Lake.
Atwater has a very pretty spot on Seneca Lake and is staffed by friendly folks. Beautiful facility and memorable tasting bar of maple construction. The wines seem to be middle-of-the-road quality and, for us, lacked that "special something" that sets apart other estates' portfolios. There seems to be a relative lack of specialization and a fair bit of wine that is just "serviceable." One bright spot was their sourcing or farming, it's unclear which, of Cabernet Sauvignon; their Cab-Syrah blend and their Cab-based dessert wine (of all things!) caught our attention. Worth a visit if in the neighborhood, but some of Atwater's neighbors have more compelling wine offerings.
I love their wine. Just joined the "46Brix" option, so I can get free shipping for a year. The Navone Riesling is the best! Haven't been to the winery yet, but looking forward to a trip to the Finger Lakes and a sail on the "True Love" --- Andrew Peck Woodstock, New York
Excellent tasting room with fantastic wines, staff and views. One of my favorite stops on the wine trail.
Great wine and staff!
