  • I went there 2 summers ago with family, aunt and uncle in their 30s and two kids, one 5 one 6 years old, also a newborn. The park was SO much fun. We would never get bored of it, everyone had fun, wav...  read more »
  • my family and I love going to this place, we love the slides. the only thing I do not like is that you are not allowed to bring drinks and do not explain why .... but we love to go there
  • The last time I visited Lake Lanier Islands was when I had teenagers (years and years ago). It was a great place, cost was expensive at that time, maybe 30.00 per person (and there were coupons availa...  read more »
  • Could be so much much better. Feel 'nickel and dimed' every year when looking big picture (year round). The service could be better. The offerings could be better. The options could be more plentiful. Still fun for the kids though and nice to have close by. Just don't try to compare it to Dollywod or the like because it won't hold up.
  • Gate person needs to inform better about pricing to access Sunset Cove. Also would be beneficial to have a person posted at main access to Lanier World at the parkimg lot. Some families with strollers had to work their way down large cement stairs to only find out that in order to get to a highly recommended restaurant they would have to pay $20 a person for beach access. Obv a bad deal if you only want to eat at Sunset Cove, so they had to work their way back up large stairway with stroller in 90 degree weather. Saw several families in this predicament.
  • Disappointing! That's how I'd describe the day my wife and I spent there. We bought tickets that gave us a fast pass for the rides so we didn't have to wait in line for the rides. However, no one at the gate where we got our wristbands told us they were out of the special band you're "supposed" to get for the fast pass so we were given the regular wristbands only. The general attitude of every employee we dealt with was apathetic. We were told that the company only cares about ticket sales and NOT customer service. Well, congratulations! You successfully accomplished your goal. We bought tickets and received awful customer service. DON'T waste your money unless you don't care about customer service.
  • Only been here low season, so it is free & quiet. The lake is great and if you are pretty low maintenance, the cocktails and scattered amenities (chairs, umbrellas) are good enough to make a nice day of it. Water is warm and filled with tiny fish that enjoy your presence. Not amazing, limited complaints.
  • This is definitely a fun place for the whole family to enjoy. I purchased my tickets online, so I didn't realize that I paid for the Fast Pass which allowed me to skip the lines, do the Zip line across the lake, and the new Wibit (which if you're not young and have lots of upper strength, it's one I'd recommend for the kids). They have chairs, tables, and lockers you can use while sitting on the beach. The food was very filling a reasonably priced. The is a bar on sight, but being a bartender myself, I felt they could've been a bit stronger for the price but was still very good. Had an absolute best time on the Cat4! Definitely recommend this for everyone!!
