  • We went with the Botanical Gardens for our wedding and really enjoyed it! We worked mostly with Christina, the events director, and she was always quick to respond to our emails and full of ideas on different things we could do within the space. The gardens themselves were beautiful, and the outside ceremony we wanted came out spectacularly. Because it was a greenhouse it was a little warm inside for the reception, but the spaces looked beautiful and the guests all commented on how they had never been to a prettier venue. Overall, the Botanical Gardens is a beautiful setting and they are easy to work with. We recommend them to anyone looking for a great garden location!
  • If you love plants and flowers, go for it. Right now they remodel. We like to go there and bring some snack and sit down and enjoy the beauty. For my taste, the admissions are a littel bit too much... don't forget to walk around the nice pond.
  • Extraordinary architecture. Even more extraordinary plant collection inside with flowers you rarely find in even the best botanical gardens. Well maintained and practically planted outdoor gardens with great ideas for your own backyard. Great and helpful staff. Most plants are identified and briefly described. A few are unfortunately not--the ones you'd like to know it seems. This must be a tropical dream to be in in the winter. Kudos to both Erie County and the group running the Gardens for investing substantially in renewing the facility, creating fascinating special exhibitions and just doing an outstanding job all around
  • It's always such a beautiful, peaceful place to visit and go for a walk. Some of the trees and plants are like old friends, and it's fun to watch them change throughout the seasons. Here are a few photos I took. Come and enjoy the gardens!
  • I absolutely love the gardens. This is the perfect place to clear your mind if need be, or to have a really cute date. I would check if renovations are undergo before visiting though. It seems like half of it is closed for a few months at a time.
