  • I made my family stop here and I was blown away with amusement. The saloon show and the magic trick where absolutely spectacular. Many of the shows seem run down but they are charming and were quite informative a+ would go again. Keep cameras ready!!!
  • Very upsetting and dangerous. The place is not kept up at all. Broken glass a stairs everywhere. The buffalo look very sick and under weight The owners are not keeping the place clean. I watched the cook use the same knife for everything and not wash there hands. There meat for sale is going green. The history is not up to date. Over half the robots and displays don't work. Very upsetting. Definitely not worth $8 a person.
  • I went there with my family for my mom's birthday since it was hyped up in a Sioux Falls tourist magazine. Awful. Just awful. You walk in to a rundown gas station. The restrooms are filthy. Bar soap instead of liquid which doesn't sound like much to complain about but is super unsanitary. Everything is dusty and unkempt. We payed 8 dollars a person to get in to the "ghost town". A lady took us through the side room and had no idea what she was talking about. Then set us off to go through the area by ourselves. The entire place is rundown. History is completely inaccurate and whitewashed. There was a "Ghost of the horse Camance" which is you just looking through a hole in the wall of a barn and there's a floating toy horse painted green. I wasn't expecting much with that but still, super tacky. The animated cowboys are terrifying, recordings are warped. The skywalk to overlook the buffalo was a hazard in itself. Boards are rotting through, nails are sticking out. Every time I took a step, the boards would bow. It was terrifying. The buffalo are malnourished and had no adequate room to roam, no adequate water and a moldy bale of hay. No shade as well. Completely disgusted, I asked for a refund and got basically a huge middle finger. The owner proceeded to threaten to call the cops and made an ass of himself. Needless to say, after a one sided argument about the conditions of the place, I did not get my refund. Never again.
  • Interesting. Im wondering how long the buildings will last...the stairs and wood planks are questionable how sturdy they are. Especially the 3rd step going up. They did have some buffalo.
  • This is the most upsetting place I have ever been to. The history is completely off or just completely inaccurate, and it is completely whitewashed. Also NOTHING is upkept and the buffalo do not have enough roaming area for a herd of 13 and most were sickly. I asked for a refund on my money and was basically given a giant middle finger. When I told them their history was completely inaccurate and white washed I was met with a "No!" I told them I'm from the Sisseston reservation, raised in my culture, my entire work is with historians, I teach on a college level Dakota and Lakota history and was telling them they need to revise their history. And was told "good for you". This place is horrible, inaccurate, white washed, and dangerous. We were then told they were going to call the cops on us for asking for our refund.
