  • I've been to a handful of hot springs, and this one does not rank in the top 5. I was hopeful because it looked like more of a naturalistic spot, which it was, but overall it was a bit of a letdown. T...  more »

  • The pictures don't do this place justice. We went in early November, so their cold pool had been emptied for the season, but our choice of four hot baths was more than we could ask for anyway! Very relaxing atmosphere, great for a getaway. Staff was super friendly and informative. Our masseuse, Oriah, was incredible and very knowledgable in her craft!
  • Me and my partner had a wonderful time here! I had attempted to stay here before, but they were always booked up. Surprise that my partner called last minute and there was an opening in the hotel. The rooms were very basic, but very clean... really, what more do you need than a place to sleep between going into the amazing pools! I had such a wonderful and healing time at these springs, the staff was very friendly and helpful to us. We stayed two nights... I was totally mad at myself for passing out the first night before hitting the pools. (We got in rather late). The next morning I was out there by 8am. Best time is in the morning for sure! They pools are cleaned every night, and you can tell in the AM. Crystal clear HOT HOT water. (I like the very hot pools, and trust me, they can be very hot) My partner enjoys the cooler pools. Due to the cleaning, the cooler pools were not ready until later in the morning. I went in throughout the day. I like the hottest pool, and can usually handle about 45mins of soaking, before I need a break. We loved it so much, that we booked one of the cabins for a month later with our two other friends. My friends have had a rough couple of months, and I figured this would be a wonderful treat for them. The atmosphere here is very chill, hippie, and healing vibe. Dont expect a party scene, or a family scene. There are many other hot springs for that. If you come here respect its intent, to be a healing place. A quiet place, to uniwind. To soak up some minerals, relax, and go back into the world better! There is no TV, cell phones dont work here either. I saw a computer in the lobby for use... but I never tried it, since I was too busy soaking! For me, as a small business owner, who is stressed out often, this was perfect. It even provided me a space to get away from my more toxic behaviors. No alcohol is allowed here, no smoking either. As a former smoker (a month), this was just the treat I needed. Also was a nice break from drinking. Even when we went into town to eat, I didnt order a drink with my dinner. I couldnt wait to get back and soak. I love the vibe here, and what these people do. We need more places like this in the world. Im not sure what happened to the people who had 1 star reviews. I found my room to be clean, I found the pools to be clean, I found the staff t be friendly. If I was to complain about anything at all, our room in the hotel was a little too warm for my liking, there was no temp control for the room (it is heated by the spring water!). Thats about it.. Cant wait to stay in the cabin we rented next month!
  • We stayed 2 nights in one of the cabins. We had our own soaking tub and access to the big pools. All pools were functioning, though one would be drained for the day for cleaning, but was up again the next day. We found the staff to be friendly and they accommodated our last minute request for a couples massage. The cabin was clean and nice. Bring an open mind and sense of humor and this place will treat you well. Think of it more like Air BnB than a hotel. The towels, dishes, etc are mismatched, but nice enough to use. There were 4 assorted robes in the room which we found humorous and useful. We had ants outside by our tub that we were told don't bite and would be difficult to eliminate without damaging the environment, so we should do our best to get along with them, which we did. We had a lot of fun and we're glad that we didn't let the one star reviews scare us off.
  • Just soaked for a few hours in the public pools. Not super impressed. No river access and the cooler pool seemed out of commission. Bathrooms were filthy and small. Only thing I liked was the shaded part to the pools and the stone (non- swimming pool) look for the soaking pools. Not impressed for the price.
  • Nice quiet place with comfortable beds, a nice view and friendly staff. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the hot spring pools and we had a nice night. My only real complaint is that the room we stayed in smelled very strongly of Ozium like they were trying to cover up something worse but our room had a box fan so I just put it in the window and aired it out.
