Knott's Soak City Reviews
We had a wonderful day at Soak city with my daughters friends and our German Exchange student. So easy to find your group when you get separated! Kids can go on the huge slides and Mom can relax in a ... more »
It was a hot day so decided to take kids to Soak City. Just the name alone let’s you know what your getting into. You get soaked on slides and near play areas. But food was good and lots of places to ... more »
Our two boys thought this water park was excellent, but I am rating it very good because the steps going up to the water slides (with rubber rings) were gritty with dirt. Not a great feeling under foo... more »
The park is absolutely beautiful. The lazy river is so nice and relaxing. They have a nice toddler area as well. They have a beach wave area that feels so much like a real beach wave. The lifeguards pay close attention at all times and make sure everyone is safe. They have a pizza place and the pizza is 100% worth the price.🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕 The pizza box fed me and my family of 3. The park is great and i love all of the scenery from the ducks roaming around to the snoopy statues. 😊😊😊😊
We were VERY excited to go to Soak City. We ended up having a horrible time. First, we have to wait in this long line and have to get your bags checked. WHY? Someone can put a bomb in their pocket and then after they get their bags checked put it back in their bag. The people don't check your bags at the metal detector. Our aunt is vegan and has a medical condition that she can't have any of the junk food there. She had to put her food back in the car. On the way there I puked and we wanted a refund because I was sick but they said no and that you can use it until September. BUT THIS IS OUR VACATION. The supervisor never said anything to us. On the ticket in FINE PRINT it said no refunds. When we got in there were no seats and they need to stop letting too many people in. When we got a table they kicked us out!! When we got in line it took an HOUR to get on one slide. They give you a safety presentation before you get on a slide. Most people just say you can go or give you a thumbs up. The slide was fun. We decided to go. Technically that slide was worth over $200 dollars. In the end, I would NEVER come back unless we were there when it opened. It is suck a shame because it is very clean and nice. I hope this water park will learn from it's mistakes and be a better waterpark.
Its small but i like that it has a decent amount of rides for the size it is. I like that everything is very close together. No walking far distances to get from ride to ride or going up and down hills, like another water park. There are clusters of slides in each area which is nice. So you are ableto get on all of em after you come off of one slide. The lazy river was great! The only complaint i have is that food is way overpriced. 1 whole pizza is over $30. Milk us for all you can i guess. Not the best water park but its decent. Worth a try. I went on a Wednesday and it was a perfect day to go. I can't imagine how the weekend must be.
I'd say the park is a great time to spend an hour or two. But staying for longer will quickly get less and less fun. The lines for the rides are long 10-30 minutes wait time and the rides.. there aren't alot of them, there's a place for the kids, and a place for the babies. However all the rides are similar, slides where you go alone or together. The pavement quickly gets hot and on most rides water shoes still aren't allowed so your feet are bare and exposed to the heat of the floor. The food prices are high as it is with Knott's Berry farm. In some places the water is colder and you go from a nice temperature on one ride to practically freezing ice water. The park overall is 3 stars, not bad but not good from outside forces and from internal workings that just don't make sense (ex. Not allowing water shoes)
Im not a fan of the water. But my daughter really loved it. Keep your Sunblock handy. Water is the perfect temperature. Also careful with your shoes. My brother's sandals were stolen.
