Hold onto your hats as you take the plunge on the world’s first looping roller coaster at Knott's Berry Farm. Originally a small California berry farm, the amusement park features over 65 hectares (160 acres) of thrill rides, water attractions, and games and arcades, spread throughout six themed areas. Speed down rushing rapids at almost 3.6 m (12 ft) per second on the Timber Mountain Log Ride or enjoy panoramic views of the park and surrounding area from 55 m (180 ft) up in the air on the Sky Cabin ride. Where to stay in Buena Park

Both hotels and full-service resorts are located near the E-Zone and Disneyland attractions. The latter manages its own resort and hotel. Many of the chain hotels around the city's attractions offer many rooms, and last-minute reservations are possible. Consider accommodations farther from the E-Zone for deals on nightly rates.

  • We had a blast! The lines weren't long especially for young kids who don't do well with waits. My husband and I even took some turns going on some bigger rides since we didn't have to wait in line ver...  more »
  • First off, the staff is exceptional. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The park has a good cross section of rides for all ages and thrill levels. I would recommend visiting Knotts before going to Dis...  more »
  • This park is awesome!!! Really family friendly. Camp Snoopy is brilliant for small kids. We were able to go on all the rides as a family which is usually difficult with a 2 year old. The wait times we...  more »

  • Most rides accommodate heights of 48". Only a few required 52" or higher. Our daughters loved this park. We opted for this instead of Disney. The more popular rides had an hour+ wait time, but it gave us good family time! Calico Street had our girls running "errands" between the old west stores...very fun for them. There are restaurants towards the entrance and a few in the park. The lines for water or drinks were very long, but we expected as much. They do have water bottle filling stations if you purchase their water bottle for $15 up to $30😳, where you can fill them at no charge. I believe the more expensive one receives free refills on all drinks and the smaller one only free water. Wear good walking shoes and take a backpack to carry all of your family's items in one place. Sunscreen a must...and have fun!!!
  • Had a great time at Knotts today. I like the old western town theme. The park was clean and I really liked all the time they put into the landscaping, flowers and plants. .All the shows I saw were great...the old west stunt show....the Snoopy magic show ..... and the saloon show. Had a nice lunch at Johny rockets ....the service and food was great. Enjoyed a few rides and strolled through the park and shops. Purchased a chicken dinner at the" take out" to enjoy along with one of their boysenberry pies . Yum! The meal was delicious. I had a great time and look forward to going back real soon.
  • Awesome experience here. The rides are fun, facilities are relatively clean, and the food is the best I've had in any theme park I've ever visited. They offer a military discount of I believe roughly 35% on admissions, however you will pay close to $20 to park as well. All in all, an affordable alternative to nearby Disneyland if you're just looking to ride rides and have a nice day with good food.
  • The rides are really great for kids 16 and younger, but it's not really the place to be if you're a thrill seeker looking for coasters. The aesthetics are fantastic though, it's got the classic Cedar Fair sky line that would get anyone excited for a fun day in the park and once inside it's clean and beautifully laid out. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend checking it out but come early otherwise parking might take awhile.
  • Loved it! This place is awesome! Good rides, good food, good atmosphere, good layout. We literally spent all day here, and didn't see and do everything. Has plenty of cool stuff for every age group. I love the fun and interesting history tucked into every inch of the place. One of a kind treats, and plenty of shade, this place is a definite must see!
