Nantahala Rafting with Adventurous Fast Rivers, Bryson City

Everything was very good. The guide (Tim) knew what he was doing and told us about the river without being too chatty. Equipment was clean and worked properly. The ride to put-in and from take-out was very short. The section of river was exciting enough but not dangerous. We loved it and will go back

From an easy booking experience on their website to a friendly staff welcoming us at the outpost, my husband and I had a splendid time! It was our first time doing whitewater rafting and we were so glad we did this with Nantahala Fast Rivers. Their staff were kind and patient with us. Letters (? Sorry for butchering your name) was our guide and he was knowledgeable, experienced, great conversationalist, and funny. The outpost also have new amenities and they're super clean. Highly recommend this place! Flawless experience.

Nicest river rafting place that I've ever been to. Nancy was a great guide! They have hot showers and very clean bathrooms to clean up in afterwards. Very fun rafting trip! Much better than any that I've been to in the area. Up to class 3 rapids. Definitely recommend!

I was looking for a great way to reward a very hard working young soccer team. We decided to take them rafting and chose these guys. With 12 ten year olds, I expected some hesitancy from parents....they decided to attend as well. From my conversations with the owner Will, until our post trip return to the outpost, things went smoothly and these kids had the time of their lives. The guides did a wonderful job with the kids and it was relaxed and fun-loving. The grown ups had a terrific time as well. Thanks so much to everyone for helping us have such a wonderful day on the river! One warning though, when they say stay to the right, you should heed their advice. My wife and I went the WRONG way. This is, hands down, the BEST rafting outfit in western North Carolina. Do not go anywhere else. Guides are amazing- we had Nancy and our young adult kids had Earl. Both were knowledgeable, safe (but superfun!), friendly, and overall fabulous. The process was very easy, from booking to adding folks to the reservation to being schooled before the trip, the bus ride to and from the river, buying pictures and cute t-shirts, everything was just smooth and well-run. I had been on a rafting trip somewhere else that was the literal worst excursion of my life and left me with a deep fear of rafting. This was my 1st trip rafting after that near death experience. Nancy was amazing, and really helped me, "get back on the raft." Because of her, I didn't just face my fear... I had the BEST TIME EVER. Thanks, Nancy!
