  • Hard to believe that this is the best brewery in Western NC! Lots of great beers on draft including lagers, IPA's, Stouts, sours, and more! Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and overall a cool place to just hang out and enjoy some of the fresh beers they have on draft. There is live music on the weekends and you are allowed to bring in your own food. If you are traveling through the area, it is well worth the stop!
  • Enjoyed this spot, very chill and helped with my Smoky Mountain Railroad experience. Select was very interesting given that most of it is not available in Eastern NC. I would go back if happened to be in the area.
  • Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, excellent live music in season, and of course the beer... Award winning beer to suit the tastes of anyone. Dirty Girl Blonde is a crowd-pleaser but try their amazing series called Trail Magic. They release a new and creative brew a few times a year and they are always a treat. Hang out all afternoon or enjoy an evening out. Family friendly, pets on the porch, and cozy winter-time tasting room. When anywhere in western NC, it's worth a stop here.
  • Nantahala Brewery has great craft beer made from some of best water on the planet. During the summer they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. The front deck is a nice place to sit and enjoy the mountain air and have a beer after a day of outdoor activities. Currently they don't offer food but welcome carry out from local restaurant many within walking distance (Anthony's down the street has great pizza). Menus for Anthony's and Nick and Nate's are kept behind the bar. Watch for food to be offered by Nantahala Brewery in the Summer 2016. Brewery tours are offered Friday and Saturday. Parking can be a bit confusing but if you continue past the brewery you will find a small gravel parking lot. If you're in Bryson City and you like craft beer this is a must stop.
  • Good beer, great service. I was impressed by the friendly staff and the variety of beer styles available. :)
