  • My kids loved it! Went on the polar express ride. The hot chocolate wasn't to hot it was just the right temp for my 3 year old to drink right went it was served. Bring a straw if you need one. 1st class cabin was worth it to get a both with a treat bag, cup, and a souvenir bag to it all in. I recommend before the kids get old and can't hear the bell ring anymore.
  • Love riding the rails. This is a great way to see the mountains from somewhere other than the highway. I saw many things that I would have otherwise not seen. Just back, relax and enjoy someone else doing the driving while you sip a cool drink.
  • I had such a wonderful time here! My friend from out of state was visiting, so we took her onto the train. I had never been myself, so I was quite excited! The view was absolutely beautiful and I really enjoyed the whole trip to Dillsboro and back to the station in Bryson. I would definitely go again.
  • Definitely try the BBQ and Brews train ride. Great for the family. Tip the wait staff good. It's amazing to see them walk around carrying stuff and not spill it everywhere.
  • Train was fine, the Wizard of Oz witch/flying monkey scared the crap out of my 3 year old. I would skip the Wizard of Oz train unless you are die hard fan, otherwise its meh. The munchkins on our train were very sweet and helpful though.
