Inspiration Point, Bryce Canyon National Park

Categories: Lookouts, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.9/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web
Survey colorful limestone spires and arches from a windswept vantage point at Inspiration Point. A lookout in Bryce Canyon National Park, the point gives panoramic views of the canyon's horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters, which contain naturally formed hoodoos--spires created in limestone due to erosion. You'll marvel at the contorted formations and their graduated color palette, which changes as the light of the day moves across the valley. If you are a bird-watcher, keep an eye out for the extremely rare California condor, which can sometimes be seen in the area. The point is an excellent spot for wildlife and landscape photography.
