  • It has been many years since we have visited and made an impromptu stop for apples. Has become quite commercialized. I am a bargain shopper and felt prices here were a bit high. The cost was between $...  read more »
  • Our family has a tradition of visiting other family that live in NE Ohio. In the past we have gone to Carlisle Woods with the kids, which the park system has always done a really nice job on. It wasn'...  read more »
  • We spent a Friday evening bagging our own apples and going through the bakery. There were a lot of families there having fun at pumpkin village while we had fun shopping. The parking was easy and free...  read more »
  • Great place to see a concert! Went there last Friday for a Journey tribute band and it was one of the best I've ever gone to. For $5 bucks we got to set up on the hill with a breathtaking view of the sprawling apple orchard. 16 oz. beers were 5 bucks also-not a ripoff but not a bargain either. If I had a quibble with this place its that they need a LOT more port-a-potties. If you need to make a pit stop during the concert (or worse at the end of a concert of during a break), you will wait in line a LONG time.
  • Had a beautiful wedding and reception at the newly renovated "Barn" which is anything but a barn. Entirely a different space with its spacious and finished main floor and a lovely upper mezzanine. The lawn overlooked the corn maze and pond with a gorgeous sunset.
  • If I could give it no stars I would have I called to book a commercial shoot and 2 people got back to me about rental and pricing that worked at Mapleside! I couldn't recall the names but They said they would call me back to give me a price I called days later to follow up and the lady was rude like pretty much over talking me and I'm like ma'am they said they would rent it out to me... Shes like well let me tell you I'm the OWNER... And we're not gonna do it with the worst attitude! First Off your employees should know the guidelines of the business!!! She was just really really rude! Smh!!! Never know who your talking to on the other end of the phone so next time "owner" don't be rude! Smh
  • We LOVE taking our kids here because they have SO MUCH FUN when we go! Their favorite things to do are play in the jump park, go down the super long slide, and ride one of the piggy or cow trains. Before we leave, we always have to stop for a yummy ice cream cone on our way out. We could seriously spend hours playing here, there's so much fun stuff to do! And the staff is all so friendly, it is a wonderful family place. And in the summer, the Friday night concerts make for a great date night. We love Mapleside and will keep going back!
  • Mapleside Farms was beautiful separate in itself, however, DO NOT GET MARRIED HERE AS LONG AS THEY HAVE A CONTRACT WITH "A TASTE OF EXCELLENCE" catering!!! They are a SCAM! They charge you for fresh food even though its all preheated. they don't have set prices they just set up a proposal based off of an approximate! if you don't ask what the extra fees and service charges are u don't find out that they charge you for transportation of their food on top of the plates as an extra charge which at any other venue the plates included everything and what else is next? are we to pay the gas fee too?! REAL venues, instead of catering taking care of everything, have packages with set prices and tell you exactly where your money is going and are honest about the food being delivered. A Taste of Excellence was going to charge us for the plates which were 3 times the price at other venues and changed the price later on was originally told $85 but he told me $95 and when u actually add it up it comes to $120 a person in the proposal. If you go with this for your wedding READ EVERY DETAIL AND ASK QUESTIONS!!! we added up about $3,000 dollars in outrageous extra unnecessary fees which they sneakily shoved in the service charges! Good thing we asked what the service charges were for. not to mention if something happens at ur wedding they don't roll over at least some money u lose that day and have to save up all over again! A Taste of Excellence is a scam and my fiancĂ© and I had this place as our dream place to have the wedding. too bad they lost thousands of dollars because of dishonesty. We were very disappointed.
