  • Bowdoin wasn't my top choice school. I didn't get into Stanford, so I chose my favorite out of the prominent Liberal Arts Colleges (Williams, Middlebury, etc.) At first I had second thoughts coming here. It wasn't my top choice, and I wasn't sure I made the right decision. Yet, I'm happier than ever here. Everything about this campus is so welcoming. The classes are hard, and you have to put in a lot of effort, but that's part of what I like about it. Everything about this place pushes you to excel and be the best you can be. Don't get me wrong, I love Bowdoin, but to a further extent, I love the person that Bowdoin made me become.
  • Lovely bucolic small private liberal arts college in Maine. Great academics and lovely town with great coffee and restaurants that have food for vegetarians!
  • This school is the most superficial place I have encountered. I am beyond glad to be out of there. I thought that I had met friends for life during my first year, but instead no one ever talks to one another. Also, the administration is useless and will do anything to shut you up if you are not a typical (fake) happy Bowdoin student. Bowdoin is also mediocre. They pride themselves on their academics but they hire some of the most awful professors.
  • Biased alumni here. Best College in the world.
