  • Even if you don't have time to enjoy the hiking trails, it's worth the drive to see the upper overlook and walk to the lower overlook as well. Lower area more challenging. Stop in the store for a map ...  read more »
  • Nice mix of well maintained and marked trails. Plenty of wildlife to see from deer, black bears and birds. If you walk down to the river you have to come up. Overall great views large rock walls and it...  read more »
  • Campsites 15 & 16 are too rough for tents, this should be noted when making reservations. We rode down to see the sites that we had reserved for a tent camping trip and observed that there was not a g...  read more »
  • Great Hiking. Easy to find. Water available at the top. Great views. I went here to go Mountain Biking & that is wonderful too! It is not overly technical trails, mostly double wide paths, very little single track. Great Climbs! Good for downhill folks too but watch out because all trails are multipurpose & we all want to enjoy while respecting one another!
  • Coopers Rock State Forest is amazing. It is my idea of heaven. This forest is exactly how you might picture storybook forests minus a big bad wolf. This is one of my absolute favorite spots for relaxation.
  • It's a beautiful place just to go get away from the craziness! I often grab my food and go sit at a picnic table. With a loved one there are a lot of trails to explore, rock climbing, and the gorgeous overlook.
  • I am a resident of Morgantown, WV and have visited Coppers Rock many times. The handicapped path you have is a real joke and you should be ashamed of yourselves. How do you ever think a person in a walker, with a cane or in a wheel chair is suppose to use that path?
  • This is a great little campground! Clean warm bathrooms with hot showers. The campsite area is small and you a little bit close to people. But the area is beautiful and well maintained. We had a great time.
