  • Small zoo with really good attractions, feeding the giraffes was fun. The design of the zoo made the zoo bigger but didn't tire you out. Some of the concessions were closed, we went during the week. N...  more »

  • This is a great place to see a variety of animals. The exhibits are placed around the zoo by continents. As a member I come here several times a month and enjoy watching the animals hang out. They are always adding exhibits to keep the traffic flowing. You should be able to see all the animals with in two hours maybe more if you have kids. Check out there website in advance to see if maybe you can plan a trip when they are doing something exciting. My favorite part is the aquarium and stingray exhibit that allows you to pet them as they swim by.
  • My family loves this zoo. Every time we go to visit family, we HAVE to make time to stop at the zoo. They do a free tour with a guide if you call ahead and schedule it. For being a small zoo, they have tons of animals to see. We love to pet the stingrays and feed the giraffes! Also, the playground is a great touch. The bathrooms could use some work though.
  • I enjoyed going to the zoo it's just that the animal Care needs to improve. Thier water is too dirty needs cleaning the dens need proper care, the giraffes needs carrots for a three dollar snack instead of a dried out twig. Come on it's time to really better their care. I don't mind paying even more but it needs to go to the care of the poor animals. The first time I visited the zoo I was flabbergasted at what I saw it has improved however very little. Please please do something about it.
  • Our group really enjoyed this zoo. It didn't look like much when we pulled into the parking lot. Once we got in and got about half way through, we were all impressed with the layout and variety. It was overall much larger than we anticipated, had a large variety of animals, and most animals were in natural style habitats. The walkways over the water areas were beautiful. We felt like we were not in a city area, but far off somewhere. One highlight was petting the stingrays in the aquatic area. There was a new section that was under construction, so more to see is on the way.
  • Must see. The aquarium with the sting rays where you can actually touch them was unbelievable. I'm 68 and my grandson us 11 And we will never forget the experience the soft silkness of the rays as they glided through your fingers. If you don't see anything but the rays, the admission is worth it.😀😀😀😀
