  • ...due to the EMPLOYEES. The Pine Barrens course is fantastic. However, we had 2 very bad experiences today. First, the starter wanted us to tee off a group earlier, due to a cancellation. We weren't ...  more »
  • My wife and i have been playing here for about 10 yrs, and only played Rolling Oaks once (boring!), we always play Pine Barrens. Other than the fact that these 2 courses are a Fazio design, the layout...  more »

  • Played 6th Oct 2016, on our trip to Orlando from the UK, though we would try something different for one of our courses. We played the pine barrens course and really enjoyed it, course was in good shape and greens too, total different feel about it with all the trees, like a Georgia course, so I was told, never been to Georgia myself though,a also the best practice putting green I have ever seen.
  • Both courses are consistently in great condition. Rolling hills offer a variety of challenges while simultaneously providing and opportunity for all levels of golfers to enjoy a round without getting beat up. Secluded and tranquil environment without the distractions of houses around the golf course.
  • Played at World Woods for the first time on 7/28/2016 and let me say the course was awesome, and a thrill to play and I will be back. Now onto one issue that kinda sucked and I believe uncalled for, being that I had a tee time for 9:00 it already was getting hot, this was the issue Rangers on ur ass askin you to pick up play now when ur playing with older gentlemen and it's 90 degrees out of course play will be a little slow, group behind was not complaining at all and if we were behind I'm sure they could have played thru, I found this to be totally unnecessary in my opion but maybe that's the way it is in dead of summer. So overall if anybody has a chance to play this course play it you will be back guarantee The course is a total thumbs up, rangers not so
  • If I could give World Woods two separate ratings they would be 5-Stars for the Golf Courses and the golf experience, and 1-star for the staff and the customer service. I have been to World Woods on three occasions during my visits to my mother-in-law who lives in Palm Harbor - so it is a bit of a drive to Brooksville. I keep thinking that I will give the staff another shot just because the golf courses are worth putting up with some inconveniences in order to play - the courses are both ABSOLUTELY worth every penny. I just would not expect the attitude and level of service to be so poor at such a world-class golf facility. I have been blessed to play some of the finest courses in the US, UK, Canada and Mexico, and these guys and gals are right at the very bottom when it comes to customer service. My experiences with each visit have been that the staff basically acts like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to spend your time and money with them. This may not be the case with the folks who are lucky enough to live close by and able to play there regularly, as I did see the staff pleasantly interacting with a few folks and appeared to know them fairly well - but if they don't recognize you as such... don't expect much and then you won't be disappointed. The golf is still DEFINITELY worth putting up with some low-class, low quality customer service - food and beverage quality included. My recommendation if you "ain't no local", would be to show up full, with some beverages stashed in your golf bag, go out and enjoy some amazing golf courses and then get the hell out of there as fast as you can!
  • Played Pine Barrens with my wife and another couple on Sunday July 17th and "WOW" was the place in great shape. The course is perfect for all types of golfers and a MUST play. Greens were great but I was even more impressed by the fairways. Go play....
