Course layout was real nice. Greens had been plugged two weeks prior but were not back in good condition. They were extremely slow. Our group should have waited another 2-3 weeks to play this course. ... read more »

Nothing in this world is perfect, but the team at Hernando Oaks golf provide a great experience and friendly atmosphere. The golf is perhaps the best at the price that I have seen, and the course is becoming one of the best in the area.
We don't play golf, but we're members of the community, and we eat lunch in the clubhouse two or three times per month. The menu is fairly diverse, with sandwiches and wraps. No big shakes, but always well prepared and tasty. Service is ALWAYS good. The waitresses are very attentive to our needs, and ensure we get prompt service.
Great coarse conditions, friendly staff. As a couple from Ontario Canada, we have played this coarse on a regular basis for two years . We have never experienced rude staff / cart issues as reviewed by previous golfer a week ago. Management excel at making your golf day a pleasurable experience.
Tough course. Played when it was a bit damp and also when the weather was decent. Fairways seemed to be sloped to either side, making the ball run into side ditches and even ponds. Greens were OK and it really was not a bad place. Crowded at "twilight" time. This is a gated community that allows the public to play it's golf course. A lot of sand, and I seemed to find it; fairway bunkers, near greens..... We played there three times, once not getting through as we started at twilight and could not see the ball any longer at #16 so we had to quit. This was due to the slow play and crowd ahead.
Ok this is not a review for golfing! Forget about golfing I don't even do it, so I wouldn't know anything about it. Now this review should have been left for them over a year ago because still to this very day I can not find a place that has better cheese burgers than their restaurant has and I eat out a lot and have been to more restaurants than you can shake a stick at. The burgers no kidding should honestly be world famous and maybe that is where the focus should be at because it is honestly the best burger I have ever ever had better than even the ones you make at home. Now if you get a chance and they got brownies made up you should also give those a try because they too are prefect. If you are from out of town and looking for a great place to eat you should eat here trust me its worth it and it's even worth driving out of the way for no lie best burgers in my lifetime! Recommend you to change the name to be Golf and World Famous Burgers. Forget the whole country club thing that died in the 90s :)
