  • It's a beautiful bridge that I go over everyday. You want to stay to the left if you approach the ramp via the Belt Parkway to ride the top. On a clear day the view is stunning and, if you are visitin...  read more »
  • On this last trip to NY, we have gone through this bridge about four times, it is a very satisfying experience because I understand that is one of the hanging bridges longer than the world

  • It is a spectacular bridge that is usually not included in the usual sightseeing. We went by metro to Bay Ridge in Brooklyn area to make some pictures to the sunset, and the truth is that the locals looked at us puzzled because they are not accustomed to that are tourists camera in hand. There in the area below bridge we find a few boyfriends with her bridesmaids becoming photos, which makes perfect sense in the world because they are precious!

  • Check out Fort Wadsworth National Park - very cool right below the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Great photo op. Views of Brooklyn and Manhattan are awesome with fort in foreground. Check it out if you are in Staten Island.
  • My daughter crossed the bridge today on a business trip which reminded me that my Dad took us on a ride across the Verrazano on the very first day it opened in 1964. I was 10 years old and am 62 now. It's a fond memory of our family experiencing history.
  • An alluring and intriguing monument, from what we can see of it on the F line. It beckons to you, making you want to know what it is and where it came from, much like that beautiful, unapproachable stranger at the bar.
  • I walked on staten island side when it opened in 64. I was 4. It was beatiful. Gateway to new York city.
  • It is a very good bridge to cross. It's the fastest way of getting to staten island and to New Jersey
