  • Incredible space. Fun activity (and highly addictive, I even joined their shuffleboard league with 5 of my friends!). The owners are often around (and sometimes even DJ themselves!) Check out the pink...  more »
  • When my son suggested we go here, I thought I'd go along but didn't expect to enjoy it much. I was wrong. Great music, vibrant atmosphere, great drinks, and just plain fun! For the ehole family!  more »

  • Photo booth. Amazing music. Great drinks. Fun games (dice, board, cards- they have it all). There is nothing not to love about this place!! Even when it's super busy and you can't get a lane the four square and other games around the space are just as fun to play. Great activity option for both sunny and rainy days. And if you participate in the league you get free shuffleboard all season!!!
  • Have been to Royal Palms for a few birthday parties, and it is a perfect space for just that! Shuffle board courts usually have a long wait on weekends but they also have a great selection of board games and plenty of seating, even a cute little photo booth with props. The space is well decorated and the drink menu is diverse. Highly recommend for pleasing crowds!
  • Loved the vibe. While you wait to play shuffleboard, check out their board game selection (free of charge). They usually have some kind of drink special. Mondays and Tuesdays are league nights, so know you may be waiting till later in the evening to play those nights. Their staff is very welcoming. Highly recommend for birthdays, group gatherings, or just a way to beat the usual "meet at a bar" New York routine. Plus, let's face it, shuffleboard is dope. And you don't have to travel to Florida to play. Sure beats a plane ticket.
  • A great place to spend an afternoon. The wait for a court could take over an hour, but there is a bar and plenty of board games to play while you wait. They also have a photo booth set up with their own props. Great place for groups.
  • After walking through the entrance, I felt like I stepped into a movie. The atmosphere was amazing and the drinks were also delicious. Shuffleboarding was worth the money and they give you instructions when you first start. Recommend to anyone looking for a different activity with friends.

Where to stay in Brooklyn

To enjoy views of the Manhattan skyline and have easy foot access to most of the borough's major attractions, stay in Brooklyn's downtown area. The borough's main tourism district, this area offers both luxurious accommodations for visitors wishing to splurge during their stay, as well as more economical lodgings for those traveling on a limited budget. If you don’t mind driving or taking the subway to most tourist sites, consider one of the neighborhoods outside Brooklyn's central area, such as Williamsburg or Prospect Park.
